Carriage Drive North

Carriage Drive North

London, GB

Leave time: 06:00 AM
Please allow enough time to ensure we leave on time.

We will meet in Battersea Park in front of the Peace Pagoda on Carriage Drive North then ride up to Regents Park. We will aim to do 5 laps of the park at a modest pace (32kph / 20mph)+, depending how well we do with our chain gangs.

Should be noted this time matches up with some of the really fast Regents Park groups so make sure you eat something small before you leave. If you’ve not done any chain gang riding before please watch this short video for an overview on the key features:

We will monitor the weather before the ride, and if the weather is very cold and/or very wet or there is a chance of snow/ice, then we will cancel the ride and try and provide as much advance notice as possible.

Ability: Red / Black / Silver

Please bring:
• a cycle helmet
• front and rear lights
• a spare inner tube, pump and tyre levers
• face mask
• anti-bacterial gel wash and/or latex gloves
• plenty of food and water
• cash and bank card.
You will not need a bike lock.

You must adhere to current Government and British Cycling social distancing guidelines at all times. This includes:
• not joining an organised event if you have had any symptoms of Covid-19 within the last 7 days, or have been in contact with someone showing symptoms within the past 14 days
• maintaining 1+ metres distance from fellow riders at all times, except in an emergency.

Please keep in mind that we may need to cancel events at short notice if Government advice changes or if a ride leader poses a risk of spreading Covid-19. We greatly appreciate your understanding with this.
